Default A faction idea

I was playing alliance battles recently and i've noticed how depending on what side the border is, it doesn't really matter.
Then an idea hit me...

I think you should be able to get more faction depending on what map your playing. For instance if your playing on the right side of the border, the Kurzicks would get more faction because they've pushed it that far and vise versa.

This would make the whole concept of alliance battles more interesting and more people would see a reason in pushing the border.

CONS:
----Afkers and leechers will do it more often when border is to their advantage. (but then again they would do it eitherway)

please share your ideas.

Its a good idea... BUT...

When the others have pushed the line too far into your territory, absolutely no one would care to play AB at that time.

Why not? The OP suggested that the winning faction get more faction points, not that the losing faction get less...

So you think the whole of GW AB population would simply stop playing AB just to prevent the other side from getting slightly more faction points?

I likey, at this point I believe tha whole alliance/border/faction concept is undeveloped. I mean, besides owning an outpost (wow i can shoot fireworks and ferry ppl), and having whatever prestige that gives, what is the point of alliance faction? It seems to attract recruits because they think "oh wow they have a lot of faction cool i'll join". What is the point of pushing the border around? No reason, just to get bragging rights or spite the other side that they can't even use their own outpost, big whoop. I suppose the luxon/kurzick titles should do, but to reach something like R3 means all you do in the game is AB.....

/signed, gives a reason to push the border around =]
